About
I grew up in a small village at the Pelloponese region of Greece. Even though I emigrated to Chicago at almost 15 and moved to LA at 19- with a guitar and high hopes- that small village life of family, nature, simplicity, serenity and complete awareness of the passage of time, remained with me my whole life. As I found myself with a baby boy at 24 and not being able to make ends meet playing in rock bands, I ventured into the business world. I designed shoes and clothing, built companies and travelled the world. Love and passion always guided whatever I did and I found great fulfillment.
Through all of this, music has always been present and a major influence in my life. I continued to bang on my guitar and write songs. Mostly personal songs; songs of time, people and life, in general. My childhood always always present. In the last couple of years, with the encouragement, help and insistence of my musician son, Peter, the one I had at 24, and with my two great friends and amazing artists, singer Maria Farantouri and virtuoso guitarist, arranger and producer, Giannis Spathas, I recorded these songs in Athens, Greece. It was one of the most rewarding and fun experiences of my life. Life does indeed come full circle. I hope you enjoy listening.
